Online giants Flipkart and Kerala Forest Development Corporation are joining hands. The initial MOU was signed by Mr. Georgi P Mathachan IFS, Managing Director KFDC and Flipkart’s representative Dr. Deepu Thomas, Head, Kerala State Corporate Affairs & Government Relations on 14.09.2022 . NATIONAL LEVEL CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
On the 24th of June 2022, a National Level Conference on “Diversification and Innovative Pathways for Forest Corporation” was conducted in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The conference’s major goal was to bring all the State Forest Corporations together under one roof to emphasize the issues and possibilities linked to various business areas associated with forestry, as well as to explore potential cooperation prospects.
Prakriti Srivastava IFS, Managing Director of KFDC, talked about the technical session “Minor Forest Produce: Collection, Value Addition, and Marketing,” which was based on the “Revival of Corporation: A Case Study.”

TRAINING BY KERALA FOREST DEPARTMENT FOR KFDC FIELD STAFF
Kerala Forest Department held a training program in Periyar Tiger Reserve for KFDC field staff from 20th June 2022 to 25th June 2022. This training program was designed to increase productivity and capacity building for field personnel.

We congratulate all our Field officers who have been promoted as Assistant Managers. Visit of Hon'ble Minister of Forest and Wildlife Protection Shri. A.K Saseendran to KFDC Headquarters in Kottayam
The Hon’ble minister distributed Oxygen concentrators donated by ‘ Doctors for you’ to the KFDC communities PHC’s. The minister also launched the new KFDC website. The MLA Kottayam, Shri. Thirivanchoor Radhakrishnan distributed solar lamps donated by ANERT to KFDC communities of Gavi and Munnar.
